This beautiful natural colored yarn is from Brambles, the 4-horned, delicate Jacob ewe. She's nearly 19 years old (quite old for a sheep) but is in great shape and is quite fiesty. After shearing, the raw wool is sent to Prince Edward Island where it is washed, carded and spun, retaining some of the lanolin to repel water. The yarn is a twisted 3-ply, 2 white and 1 grey.
